St. Theresa Church
Kemmannu is rich in local culture, so it goes without saying that the St. Theresa Church is a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring the town’s locations of significance. It is located 1.4km from Shimmering View.
Delta Beach
Perfect for some soul searching and enjoying the sunset. Located 3.4km from Shimmering View, you can get to the beach in under 10min. Here, you can also sign up for a boat ride into the mangroves.
Hanging Bridge
Kemmannu’s Hanging Bridge has become a tourist spot over the past decade. This 280 feet long bridge hanging in the middle of the river offers a picturesque view of the Suvarna river and the wilderness surrounding it.
At around 2km from Shimmering View, the Hanging Bridge is another spot that you’d want to add to the “can’t-miss” list. This is the best place to hang out with family and friends. Here, you can also experience the water activities like kayaking, boating, etc.
Malpe
Located about 6km to the west of Udupi, Malpe is a Natural port at the mouth of the Malpe River. Here you can experience the pure bliss of leisure; be it by visiting their well known Malpe Beach, their fishing harbor, boating dock, and even enjoy their infamous Sea Walk.
